aPHA (amorphous polyhydroxyalkanoate) is a tough, ductile, pliable, and thermoplastic biomaterial. This biopolymer has excellent thermal processability, and in combination with other polymers, can be processed into various shapes and forms, including fibers, films, tubes, foams, textiles, and molded constructs.

scPHA Neat Resin

CJ Biomaterial are under developing semi-crystalline PHA(scPHA) products in two types which are pellet and emulsion. Our scPHA product has the advantage of higher heat durability than PLA and aPHA.

PHACT™ S1000P

PHACT™ A1000P is an environmentally friendly amorphous PHA. It is a 100% bio-based material derived from nature and produced sustainably. It is certified biodegradable under industrial compost, soil (ambient), and marine environments. PHACT™ A1000P is suitable for general compounding with other polymers. It can applied various product in market including packaging, agriculture, food waste management, coatings, personal care and healthcare. The product is supplied in pellet form.
