Woburn, MA – 10 August 2023 – Tous Les Jours, operated by CJ Foodville, announced that they will introduce straws made from the bio-material ‘PHA’ into their stores. PHA is a biodegradable material developed by CJ Biomaterials.
The introduction of PHA straws is a first in the Korean franchise industry. Tous Les Jours plans to first introduce these straws in their company-owned stores and expand their usage for takeout purposes at all Tous Les Jours stores nationwide by the next month. Tous Les Jours expects that through this initiative, they can replace approximately 10 million plastic straws annually with biodegradable straws.
